The prominent Indonesian scholar, Shaykh Ali Jaber, was stabbed by a man during a Quran Hifdh graduation ceremony in Bandar Lampung city.
The suspect was apprehended by attendees and handed over to the police. Sheikh Ali, who survived the attack, believes it was a deliberate and targeted attack.
