ويل للعرب من شر قد اقترب
“Kemusnahan menimpa bangsa Arab, disebabkan kejahatan yang telah mendekati mereka” (Hadis Riwayat Bukhari)
Saidina Umar bin Al-Khattab RA menegaskan kepada bangsa Arab yang telah berjaya membebaskan Bait Al-Maqdis dan mengalahkan dua kuasa besar dunia Rom dan Parsi ketika itu,
نحن قوم أعزنا الله بالإسلام , فمهما نبتغي العز بغير ما أعزنا الله أذلنا الله
“Kita menjadi umat yang dimuliakan Allah bersama Islam. Sekiranya kita mencari kemuliaan atau kehaibatan dengan yang lain daripada apa yang pernah dikurniakan Allah, nescaya kita dihina Allah”
